if nokia 5800 slider key not working then this problem can be solve with a few steps as given in bellow diagram.its solution can be to change slider button or keys ic as path is shown in diagram.and also check these tracks with meter.

if button shows value with meter then replace slider button and if value is missing in these points then apply jumpers as given in above diagram.slider key is also used as key guard key to apply and dis apply key guard in Nokia 5800.
